AP/AR Manager

What will you be doing at Miniclip?
Day-to-day
- Manage and supervise a team of 4 individuals including planning/executing/improving regular monthly processes and setting priorities as appropriate
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports
- Maintains quality control to ensure that accounting transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Assist the team and interacts with other departments in problem solving and issue resolution in a timely manner
- Maintains and monitors internal control compliance in the day-to-day operations
- Direct the processing of invoices and claim expenses, proper handling and coding to meet internal and external deadlines
- Oversee the recording and collection of customer invoices, ensuring accurate and prompt processing and payment
- Sets goals and objectives for team members to drive their development and performance
- Fosters team spirit and commitment to shared vision and goals
Project-based
- Serves as change management lead to ensure technical issues are resolved and to assure accuracy and efficiency of transaction processing
- Assist the team updating all relating training materials and internal office manuals related to accounts payable/accounts receivable processes, procedures and technology
- Improve the production and monitoring of debtor/creditor aging reports
- Improve how inquiries from internal and external stakeholders addressed
- Assist the Head of FinOps in managing financial transformation projects, streamlining processes and identifying areas for performance improvement
- Directs ongoing evaluation of accounts payable/receivable processes to assure continuous improvement and alignment with company strategic plans
- Work with direct team to understand areas of improvement and drive changes in processes/systems with the Head of FinOps
- Assist in developing key performance indicators across Financial Operations team to measure internal processes
What are we looking for?
- 3-5 years of experience managing and supervising a Finance Operations team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Global knowledge in Finance processes and exposure to best practice in a large Shared Services Centre environment
- Excellent teamwork, strong communication, and collaborative mindset skills, comfortable in dealing with all levels of the organization
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Results and quality oriented
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
- Fluent in English, written and spoken (mandatory)
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
- Solid MS Office knowledge (word, excel and outlook)
- Advance excel, Power Query and Power BI are valued
